<p>A method for stabilizing, in correctness, the transverse cross section of theend of an elongate structural beam during weld attachment to that end of a beam-endmounting component. This method includes the steps of (a) configurationallycorrecting and capturing the end transverse footprint of such a beam with an externalstructure to lock that footprint against subsequent configuration change,and (b), while performing that capturing step, weld-attaching the beam'send transverse footprint to the mentioned beam-end mounting component.</p> |
