Data packets processing according to internal load, for routing in a QOS-architecture

The router has a load processing unit to determine a state of internal load of the router and to allocate internal resources to the received flow of data packets. The resources are allocated to the flow according to class of traffic and determined state of load of the router. The class of traffic is chosen from a group comprising a flow by flow traffic and an aggregate of flow traffic. - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method of processing data packets for routing around a communication network.
