PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for connecting segments together, which is used for connecting the plurality of segments together in a zigzag pattern, and which is used for connecting the high-strength and high-rigidity segments capable of resisting even particularly great bending moment. SOLUTION: This structure for connecting the segments together comprises: a stiffening beam 23 which is arranged astride joint plates 21 abutting on the segments adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction of a tunnel or a vertical shaft, and over the plurality of segments in a direction almost perpendicular to the circumferential direction; and a plate-like reinforcing member 24 which is fixed to an end of one main girder 25, on the side of the arrangement of the stiffening beam 23 in the height direction of the segment, of main girders 25 of the segments adjacent to each other in the axial direction of the tunnel or the vertical shaft with respect to the joint plates 21 abutting on the segments, in such a manner as to straddle the abutting places of the joint plate 21 adjacent to each other, by welding.
