An output circuit for a single channel peripheral connection for a bus output component to switch an inductive load comprises at least two driver modules (101,102), especially FET transistors, in series between a supply voltage (Ut) and the peripheral connection (PA). Preferably there is a suppressor diode (103) after the driver module (101). Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) A bus output component as; and (B) A test method for the above.
