The portable road sign 1, primarily for temporary use, comprises at least one bracket 2 by which the sign may be secured to a traffic cone and a supporting base 7 which can be secured to the bottom of the sign. The base preferably includes a slot for receiving a portion of the sign in an interference fit. The bracket is preferably hinged to enable the sign to be flat packed for storage and transportation. |
