PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing a single crystal having a raw material introducing device from which a contained raw material and a bottom lid do not immediately fall even when a part of a stopper is broken, the stopper locking the bottom lid which closes a bottom part of the raw material introducing device to a wire which suspends the bottom lid. SOLUTION: A first stopper 61 and a second stopper 62 formed in size at least larger than a diameter of a suspending hole 54 are fixed and formed independently each other at a fixing member 44a of a suspending wire 44. A spacer 63 is formed between the first stopper 61 and an upper end face 53a of a recessed part 53 so as to surround the second stopper 62.
