PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage container having a relatively large diameter so as to be held by both hands which is capable of enhancing hooking property of hands to a container body and enhancing operability of a hanging handle. SOLUTION: Expanding parts 12 are respectively provided on upper portions of both side faces of the container body 1, and a finger receiving part 14 for preventing the container body 1 from being slipped off from a hand H is provided on an undersurface of each expanding part 12. Hand-hooking front grooves 15 are vertically arranged before both side faces of the container body 1. Hand-hooking rear grooves 16 and 17 are arranged behind both side faces of an outer periphery of the container body 1. Handle receiving parts 25 and 26 for regulating the turn of a handle 3 are formed on an upper face of the expanding parts 12. When both side faces are held by both hands H, each thick J of the thumb of both hands H is hooked to a pair of right and left hand-hooking front grooves 15, and finger tips of index fingers F2, middle fingers F3 or the like are respectively hooked to the first hand-hooking rear groove 16, and the second hand-hooking rear groove 17 formed before and behind the hand-hooking front groove 15 with a space therebetween.
