PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting structure for safely and reliably supporting a flat plate body to be housed having a projection like a hood of a car by the lower end. SOLUTION: A supporting structure 1 supports a body 10 to be housed in which cutout corrugated fiberboard-made flat bodies are folded and vertically arranged at a lower end. The supporting structure 1 is constituted by connecting first to tenth wall parts p1-p10 of equal width. The second wall part p2 is folded at a right angle relative to the first wall part p1; the third wall part p3 is folded at a right angle relative to the second wall part p2; the fifth wall part p5 is folded at a right angle relative to the fourth wall part p4, and overlaps the first wall part p1. Similarly, other wall parts are also folded and overlap the corresponding wall parts. A first folded part 4, the second folded part 5, and the third folded part 6 are provided on the second wall part p2, the sixth wall part p6, and the tenth wall part p10, respectively.
