PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure adjusting switch mechanism which can comparatively easily adjust the pressure in an air bag in a wide range and delicately at a high precision, and to provide a cabinet device for transporting a display panel using the pressure adjusting switch mechanism which can safely and surely transport the display panel such as a glass substrate and a liquid crystal panel without generating troubles such as breakage. SOLUTION: This cabinet device for transporting the display panel includes an air bag and a pressure controlling mechanism section. The air bag is arranged on the uppermost section after forming a laminate in which a cushioning member and the display panel are substantially alternately laminated through a flat plate for pressing. The air bag is constituted in such a manner that the air bag may work in a manner to press the laminate, and at the same time, the internal pressure of the air bag may be controlled by the pressure controlling mechanism section.
