An apparatus for driving an LED(Light Emitting Diode) is provided to simplify a driving circuit by integrating respective DC-DC converters of RGB LEDs in one driving circuit. An apparatus for driving an LED includes RGB(Red,Green,Blue) LED light sources(113), a filter(111), RGB LED selecting units(114), and an output controller. The filter generates an output signal without a noise. The RGB LED selecting units connect the filter and respective RGB LED light sources. The output controller receives a signal varied according to an output of the RGB LED light sources and controls the output of the RGB LED light sources. The signal includes an output voltage control signal, a frequency control signal for adjusting a time constant value of the filter, and R,G,B on-signals.
