A phosphate-treated electrogalvanized steel sheet excellent in corrosion resistance and coating suitability, characterized in that it comprises a zin c or zinc alloy plated steel sheet and, formed thereon, 0.5 g/m2 or more of a phosphate film containing 2 wt % or more of Mg and 0.5 wt % or more of Ni and/or Mn, with the proviso that the sum of Mg and Ni and/or Mn contained is 4 wt % or more; and a phosphate-treated electrogalvanized steel sheet excellen t in corrosion resistance and coating suitability, characterized in that it comprises a zinc or zinc alloy plated steel sheet and, formed thereon, 0.3 g/m2 or more, preferably 1 g/m2 or more, of a phosphate film containing 2 wt % or more of Mg and 0.5 wt % or more of Ni and/or Mn, with the proviso that th e sum of Mg and Ni and/or Mn contained is 5 wt % or more. |
