PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary washing device in which an opening/closing plate installed at the blowout port of a hot air duct is surely opened and closed and a toilet device having the sanitary washing device. SOLUTION: This sanitary washing device comprises a casing having a first opening, a water discharge nozzle installed in the casing, a hot air blowout duct installed in the casing and having a blowout port in the first opening, a drive source installed in the casing and supplying power, a first opening/closing plate covering the first opening and supported openably around a rotating shaft installed above the blowout port, and a transmission mechanism installed in the casing and transmitting the power supplied from the drive source to the first opening/closing plate above the rotating shaft.
