PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a single worker to efficiently carry out manhole stacking work even if a shaft area in which a manhole is constructed does not have a sufficient size for carrying out the work. SOLUTION: There is provided a connection fitting for connecting between upper and lower blocks which are stacked on each other to constitute the manhole and have the same external diameter. The connecting fitting is a combination between a receiving member and a second fit-in plate. The receiving member has a guide piece formed at a longitudinally uppermost end, and an insertion portion which has a stopper sliding hole formed therein at a location under the guide piece, and a mounting hole formed in a lower end thereof. The second fit-in plate has a fit-in portion having a width narrower than that of the insertion portion. The fit-in portion has a mounting hole formed in an upper end thereof, and a stopper formed on a lower end thereof, which slides in the stopper sliding hole through a predetermined height so as to allow upper and lower connection portions of the respective blocks to separate from each other by a predetermined distance, when an impact such as an earthquake occurs.
