PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretchable nonwoven fabric having higher stretch characteristics than those of conventional stretchable nonwoven fabrics. SOLUTION: This stretchable nonwoven fabric is obtained by arranging non-elastic fiber layers substantially comprising filaments formed by a spun bond method on each side of an elastic fiber layer formed by a melt blown method, drawing the obtained fiber sheet, and then relaxing the drawn fabric to develop the stretchability. The elastic fiber layer comprises fibers comprising a thermoplastic elastomer, or comprises fibers comprising a thermoplastic elastomer, and fibers comprising a thermoplastic resin except the thermoplastic elastomer. The thermoplastic elastomer includes a styrenic elastomer having a melt viscosity of 100 to 700 Pa s at 230°C and a melt tension of 0.2 to 2.0 cN. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
