PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which can greatly improve a fitting force to a wheel. SOLUTION: A plurality of engaging portions 15 projecting in the direction of the width of a tire are provided outside bead portions 13 at an interval in the circumferential direction of the tire. The respective engaging portions 15 engage with a rim flange 22 in the radial direction of the tire by fastening the respective engaging portions 15 toward the radially inside of the tire by means of a fastening member 14 annularly elongating in the circumferential direction of the tire. As a result, the respective engaging portions 15 can firmly engage with the rim flange 22 by the fastening force of the fastening member 14. When the tire is mounted on a wheel 20, the fastening member 14 is loosened. Therefore, the bead portions 13 can be easily fitted in the wheel 20.
