PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart an accurate sharp printed layer on the surface of the thermoplastic resin molded article. SOLUTION: A plastic film 1 carrying the printed layer 3 on the surface of a thermoplastic resin substrate 5 is adhered by a ductile adhesive 6 facing the printed layer 3 on the substrate 5 side, and molding is performed by affecting pressure difference between the front and the back surfaces of the substrate 5 after heating and softening the thermoplastic resin substrate 5. The drawing force generating in molding is absorbed by the ductile adhesive 6 and alleviated to prevent distortion, cracks from being caused on the printed layer 3 or defect such as deterioration or the like of image density of the drawn part from being caused.
