Mollusc shell-based building material production comprises grinding and mixing with ground glass and acrylic resin for molding and curing

The manufacture of a mollusc shells based building material comprises drying and grinding of washed mollusc shells for mixing with ground glass and with acrylic resin and molding. An independent claim is included for a product obtained by the above process. The product, prepared by a hammer mill, is finally cured in a furnace at 20[deg]C for three hours. It contains 65, 20 and 15 wt.% of the shell, glass and resin respectively.
