Cylinders are equipped with a system to reduce the maximum angle formed between a connecting rod and the axis of a piston. The connecting rod transmits the alternating movement of the piston to a floating plate that transmits force to turn the axis of the motor. The movement of the floating plate is limited by an anti-turn system comprised of an improved universal joint whose inner part is connected to the floating plate by lugs and whose outer part is connected by lugs to an intermediate support shared in common with the fixed structure of the motor.
