<p>The clamping mechanism is provided for clamping a workpiece (6) to the workbench (5) of a processing machine, which is for this purpose equipped with parallel T-grooves (50). The specified device features a slip piece (4) which can be inserted into any selected T-groove (50) of the workbench (5) as well as a retainer (1) which is on one side attachable to the surface of the workpiece (6) and on the other supported b the corresponding base (3) spread across the workbench (5) and with the help of a corresponding clamping mean in particular a screw (2) it is linked to the specified slip piece (4). By tightening the aforementioned clamping mean, in particularly the screw (2) the required force for holding the workpiece (6) on the workbench (5) of the processing machine is generated, where both - the base (3) and the screw (2) - firmly connected to the slip piece (4). This device which is simple to implement and easy to use enables the clamping of a workpiece in various ways, so that the force towards the workpiece is applied either from a vertical or horizontal direction.</p> |
