摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of optically active 3-quinuclidinols having a substituent group at the 2-position, particularly optically active cis-3-quinuclidinols having a substituent group at the 2-position useful as an optically active and physiologically active compound utilized for pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and the like or as a synthetic intermediate of liquid crystal materials and the like. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the optically active 3-quinuclidinols having a substituent group at the 2-position comprises causing 3-quinuclidinones having a substituent group at the 2-position to react with a hydrogen-donating compound in the presence of a predetermined metal complex.
