PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with an inconvenience caused by unevenness of thickness of bags in a boxing apparatus which stacks a plurality of individual bags as a group and packs the group of the bags into a box with a specified size. SOLUTION: The boxing apparatus which stacks a plurality of the individual bags to make a group and packs the group of the bags repeatedly into the box with the specified size, includes a thickness detecting means for detecting the thicknesses of the respective individual bags, and an arithmetic means for adding the thicknesses of the respective individual bags detected by the thickness detecting means or subtracting the thicknesses of the respective individual bags detected by the thickness detecting means from a specified value.
