PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mirror device for a vehicle capable of properly shutting off the current supply of a motor when the motor for driving is locked. SOLUTION: The mirror device for the vehicle includes a base fixed to the vehicle, a body having a mirror and rotatably attached to the base, and a driving unit 4 that drives and rotates the body with respect to the base. The driving unit 4 includes a motor 421 that drives the body, a current detecting circuit 414 that detects current fluctuation caused by the rotation of the motor 421, and a switching circuit 412 that switches on or off the current supply to the motor 421. When the current fluctuation is detected by the current detecting circuit 414, the switching circuit 412 keeps current supply in an on-state.
