PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood joined body superior in an aesthetic appearance, while preventing leaking-out of an adhesive used for joining wood; and a manufacturing method of the wood joined body. SOLUTION: A column member 2 and a beam member 3 are joined via the adhesive 5, by using a material of forming glass coat layers 21 and 31 on a surface as the column member 2 and the beam member 3 to be joined. In this jointing, even if a sealant is installed in a joining part of the column member 2 and the beam member 3, the sealant can be easily torn off from the surface of the column member 2 and the beam member 3 after joining. Thus, since there is no need to join by sandwiching the sealant between the column member 2 and the beam member 3, the wood joined body 1 superior in the aesthetic appearance can be constructed without exposing the sealant.
