Disclosed are sulphonamide derivative compounds of formula (I), wherein: A is represented by a ring as defined in the specification; R1 is H, C1-C4alkyl or benzyl; n is 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4; R2 is -NR4R5 or a heterocyclic or heterobicyclic ring as defined in the specification; R3, R4 and R5 are independently H or C1-C4alkyl. These compounds are used in the manufacture of medicaments for the treatment of anxiety, depression, cognitive memory disorders and dementia.
