Disclosed is a formulation comprising a macrocyclic lactone, together with an amount of piperonyl butoxide when used as a veterinary worming formulation. Also disclosed is the use of a formulation comprising and effective amount of a macrocyclic lactone, together with an amount of piperonyl butoxide in the manufacture of a medicament for the prevention or treatment of anthelmintic infections in mammals.
