<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The assembly has a case (6) receiving a rotary shaft (4) of an electric motor (2) and a spiral (12) formed of specific number of windings (121-12n). A hub (14) is rotatively connected to the shaft and freely moves with respect to the shaft along a principal direction of the shaft. A cross-bar (22) freely moves with respect to the hub along the principal direction. The winding (12m) passes on both sides of the hub during its rotation so as to cause an axial displacement of the hub and the cross-bar. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used in a mechanical device e.g. electric parking brake system, electric trim height correcting device or seat height adjusting device, of a motor vehicle (claimed), and in a bed position adjuster. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The assembly eliminates the need for a speed reducer, auger and a nut, so that the assembly has a simple structure, reduced encumbrance and is inexpensive.
