FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of high-strength cast irons. Proposed cast iron comprises the following components, wt.-%: carbon, 3.3-3.8; silicon, 2.3-2.7; manganese, 0.2-0.4; aluminum, 0.11-0.45; magnesium, 0.03-0.06; cerium, 0.02-0.04; nickel, 0.05-0.18; titanium, 0.03-0.12; calcium, 0.01-0.04, and iron, the balance.
