The device has a tubular connecting rod (10) having an L-shaped end portion (14) having a longitudinal pressed region and (14A) and a transverse flange portion (14B). The connecting rod is connected between two reclining elements (20,21) in such a manner that the shaft (23) of reclining element (21) is inserted through and welded to the hole of transverse flange portion, and welded to pressed region. - The two reclining elements are provided on both lateral sides of an automotive seat.
