A two-part induction coupling (108) for supplying energy to a load is disclosed. In use, the coupling includes a first part having a first core portion (106), and a primary winding (104) connected to a high frequency power supply (102). The coupling further includes a second part having a second core portion (112), and a secondary winding (110) connected for delivering energy to a load (114). Both core portions are made of a high resistivity material and at least one of the core portions has a preformed profile to accept a user wound winding to ensure the correct number of windings are applied.
