The device has a sheath (200) having different heights, and a drill (100) having a threaded zone (111) outside a working zone, where the threaded zone follows via a non-threaded zone (112) which is longer than the threaded zone. An abutment (113) holds the sheath, during penetration of the drill in the bone, to limit the penetration, where the sheath freely turns around the drill during the penetration. The drill includes an inner conduit, for inner irrigation of the drill by a liquid, and lateral blades at its end.
