Connection zone profile inspection method for use in aviation field, involves modeling contact pressures applied to surface of roller in each of geometrical zones

The surface profile of a cylindrical roller is measured. The contact pressures applied to the surface of the roller in each of the geometrical zones are modeled. The contact pressures modeled for the connection zones between the cylindrical peripheral and the tapers of the roller are compared with predefined threshold values.
