The device has rollers (G1-G8) rotatably mounted at ends of primary rockers (13a-13d) articulated to secondary rockers via connection axles (15a-15d). The axles (15a-15d) and connection axles (17a, 17b) of a central rocker are shifted relative to the middle of the primary and secondary rockers, so that connections of lever arms with an aerial rope (11) under tension in an equilibrium state, creates a non uniform angular deflection of the rollers. The deflection increases at entry and decreases at exit to obtain a preset rope trajectory that has a clothoid portion at the entry and exit. An independent claim is also included for an installation for transport via rope, such as a chair lift or a gondola lift, comprising a carrying-hauling aerial rope supporting and guiding rocker device.
