The method involves using a reception unit for transforming a received BUS data for creating a representation identical to parallel raw data provided by a computer. A filter unit (42) filtering the parallel raw data, is provided. A unit detecting the position of video data in the parallel raw data, is provided. The parallel data is transmitted towards the filtering unit which selects only the video data. The video data is transmitted towards an imaging device. An independent claim is also included for a device for testing and adjusting imaging, television and computer display screens.
