FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring systolic and diastolic arterial blood pressure and heart beat rate for determining cardiac index value and general peripheral vascular resistance value. The values are interpreted in terms of patient central hemodynamic condition. Initial data are determined within one day dividing it at least into two parts as day and night time. The indices are recorded with possible load changes corresponding to patient life activity during normative period. The values are recorded in every characteristic part of normative period with corresponding time interval set in advance. Minute blood circulation volume, general peripheral heartbeat and cardiac index are calculated using special purpose mathematical formulas. Then, minute blood circulation volume, general peripheral heartbeat and cardiac index values measured during corresponding characteristic part of normative period and mean daily values of these indices in the normative period are used for determining central hemodynamic type and indices change pattern. ^ EFFECT: high reliability in estimating functional state of cardiovascular system. ^ 3 cl, 2 dwg |
