The apparatus has a fin tube heat exchanger (10) with an inlet (11) and an outlet (13) for air repressed by a ventilator (12). A thermocouple (9) is placed outside a space above a butane burner (4). An end part (5) of a heat transmission unit is connected to an end part (6) of the burner via an intermediate part (7). The parts (5-7) are placed in a space below the thermocouple to supply heat to the thermocouple. The butane burner (4) exchanges heat with a hot side of the thermocouple (9). The thermocouple produces electrical current when a temperature difference between its hot and cold sides, exceeds a given value. The heat exchanger enables thermal exchange with the cold side of the thermocouple.
