A secure storage case, in particular for a high value product such as DVDs, includes a first wall 110, with a spine 120 extending from the first wall, and a second wall 130 pivotally attached to the spine by a hinge 140. To ensure that the hinge cannot be slit to enable the disc to be surreptitiously removed from the case, the spine is provided with a set of bosses 150 and the second wall is provided with a set of corresponding receptors 170 extending from the second wall adjacent each boss, each receptor including a locking portion 171. When the case is closed the locking portions of the receptors are located in a plane between the first wall and a lower face of the respective boss, so that even if the hinge is slit or torn the case cannot be opened and the disc cannot be extracted from the hinge side.
