<p>An apparatus and a method for media broadcast from a WAP(Wireless AP) are provided to enable the WAP to broadcast stored media to plural mobile terminals without specifying or identifying an individual mobile terminal . A first AP(Access Point) within a building(182) has a first upstream transceiver and a first wireless downstream transceiver, and operates to serve mobile terminals(184) within one within a first service area(186). A second AP has a second upstream transceiver and a second wireless downstream transceiver, and operates to serve mobile terminals in any place within a second service area(156). The second AP receives and stores media, and continuously broadcasts the stored media to the mobile terminals located within the second service area.</p> |
