摘要 A ship block manufacturing method is provided to secure quality of a product and increase operational safety and productivity by performing a welding operation easily and mechanically. A method for manufacturing a ship block by vertical downward welding comprises the steps of: arranging a lower girder(2) as a longitudinal member and an upper girder(1) on the bottom, and respectively assembling a lower frame(4) and a lateral member such as an upper frame(3) onto the lower girder and the upper girder according to design angle, direction and reference point to manufacture a unit member in the center a longitudinal stringer by vertical downward welding; rotating a unit member in the center of the upper girder to a rotation angle of 90 degrees, and mounting and assembling the rotated unit member onto a top face of a lower stringer(5) as a working face by adjusting a direction and a reference point to the top face of the lower stringer to manufacture a unit block in the center of the lower stringer by vertical downward welding; mounting a unit member in the center of the lower stringer on a bottom face of an upper deck(6) in a state that the unit member is turned upside down and adjusting a direction and a reference point to the bottom face of the upper deck to manufacture a unit member in the center of the upper deck by vertical downward welding; and rotating a unit member in the center of the lower girder to a rotation angle of 90 degrees, and mounting and assembling the rotated unit member onto a bottom face of the lower stringer by adjusting a direction and a reference point to the bottom face of the lower stringer to manufacture a block by vertical downward welding.
