MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF AQUEOUS RESIN DISPERSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process by which an aqueous dispersion of a polyolefin with a fine dispersion particle size and a narrow particle size distribution is simply manufactured and the process is greatly simplified. SOLUTION: The process relates to the manufacture of an aqueous resin dispersion containing a modified polyolefin and water and involves a dispersion step in which (a1) a solvent with a water solubility of less than 1.0 wt.% at 20°C is added to the solution of the modified polyolefin in (a2) a solvent with a water solubility of 1.0 wt.% or more at 20°C to make the polyolefin dispersed and an evaporation step in which the solvent (a1) and the solvent (a2) are evaporated off.
