The skip (100) has a chassis (102) and a slide with an opening (108a, 108b) having a zone for free insertion of a fork arm of a fork of a forklift truck in the slide. The opening has another zone opposite to which a safety device (106a, 106b) is arranged. The safety device is fixed with respect to the chassis and avoids the removal of the arm after the arm is displaced from the former zone to the latter zone. An independent claim is also included for a method for securing a skip.
