<p>The device has a camera with two lenses to capture two slightly different stereoscopic views of a same scene. A charge coupled device (CCD) is disposed at the right side of each lens. A movable mirror (Mm) is interposed between the lenses of the camera and the CCD. The stereoscopic views are mixed by a rapid oscillatory rectilinear movement of the mirror to produce a three-dimensional effect.</p>
