<p>The method involves forming a temporary marking tag label matrix coded by local variations in thickness. The label is fabricated by perforating a radiation absorbing band or depositing material on a label support absorbing less radiations. The label is affixed on a radiographic film cassette or image receiver. The label is removed from a management identifier and indexed with a data from an object in a radiological information system. An image from the label is decoded and the data indexed relative to the object is found. A film is counter-marked by a printed paper label carrying marking data. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for implementing a method for identifying a radiographic or fluoroscopic image of an examined object or cassette (2) a radiography or fluoroscopic image marking label obtained by a method for identifying a radiographic or fluoroscopic image of an examined object or cassette (3) a radiographic film cassette.</p> |
