<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a system for predicting radar accuracy and capable of notifying a user of decrease in accuracy when objects in the vicinity of a vehicle are detected. <P>SOLUTION: The radar accuracy prediction apparatus is provided with a radar device for detecting objects in the vicinity of a self vehicle; a vehicle information acquisition part 14 for acquiring vehicle information including both the traveling direction and the traveling location of the self vehicle; a radar accuracy determination part 30 for determining the accuracy of object detection by the radar device; a radar accuracy DB 32 for storing both vehicle information acquired by the vehicle information acquisition part 14 and radar accuracy data determined by the radar accuracy determination part 30; a radar accuracy prediction part 42 for predicting radar accuracy corresponding to a forward area in the traveling direction of the self vehicle on the basis of radar accuracy data stored in the radar accuracy DB 32; an output control part 50 for producing a prescribed report on the basis of results of prediction on radar accuracy; and a display device 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
