PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detoxicating method for fluorine-contaminated soil capable of sufficiently reducing the amount of the fluorine to be eluted. SOLUTION: In the detoxicating method for fluorine-contaminated soil, fluorine-contaminated soil comprising fluorine in soil is heated at 400 to 1,200°C in the presence of phosphoric acid or phosphate.
