PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording tape cartridge in which impact resistance is improved by winding a recording tape on an almost center part of a hub and occurrence of a reading error of a servo signal and recording/reproducing errors of a data signal can be reduced during running in a drive apparatus. SOLUTION: In a recording tape cartridge 10 provided with a reel 20 in which a recording tape is wound on a hub 22, a case 12 housing the single reel 20 rotatably, and an opening 18 formed at the case 12 and leading out a leader member 30 attached to an end part of the recording tape T, a tape guide 48 to which the recording tape T slides while at least the leader member 30 is led out from the opening 18 is provided in the case 12, while height of a center of a width direction of the tape guide 48 is positioned at almost same height as a center of a width direction of the hub 22.
