PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additional information processing device that can flexibly switch processing over and can implement efficient arithmetic processing, especially cumulative processing. SOLUTION: An additional processing part 5 added to a basic processing part 3 having an ALU 27 and a data memory (DM) 31 comprises an adder 29 capable of executing an operation in parallel with the ALU 27, and a template memory (TM) 33 and a search area memory (SM) 35 accessible according to the operation results of the ALU 27 and adder 29. Access to the DM 31 based on the operation result of the ALU 27 and access to the TM 33 and SM 35 based on the operation results of the ALU 27 and adder 29 are switched over.
