PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus that avoids an increase in storage capacity when customizing and holding setting information about apparatus present on a network. SOLUTION: Difference information from common information (202) of setting information on a network is recorded as setting information difference information (209). The common information is acquired from the network, the recorded difference information and the acquired common information are combined into setting information, and the combined setting information is applied.
