PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic system with which a richly expressive acoustic space is provided without the need for upsizing a main unit. SOLUTION: Since a low frequency sound range of an audio signal, transmitted from a main unit 2 via a DC power supply transmission cable 4 is output from a sub-woofer 33 of an AC adaptor 3 in addition to medium and high sound frequency ranges output from speakers 14, 15 of the main unit 2, the richly expressive sound space can be provided without the need for upsizing the main unit 2.
