PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing plate with an adhesive excellent in adhesiveness with a printed wiring board made of polyethylenenaphthalate and thermal resistance, and to provide a flexible printed board using this reinforcing plate with the adhesive. SOLUTION: The reinforcing plate is used to reinforce a component mounting section or a connector connection section of the flexible printed board made of polyethylenenaphthalate, and has a thermosetting adhesive layer formed on one plate surface thereof. This thermosetting adhesive contains a polyester compound having a naphthalene skeleton as an adhesive resin component and a thermosetting agent. A polyester unsaturated compound is preferably used as the polyester compound having a naphthalene skeleton. In the flexible printed board, this reinforcing plate with an adhesive reinforces the component mounting section or the connector connection portion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
