PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball polishing and hoisting apparatus, easy to release the engagement state of a guide rail cover with a hoisting cylinder body. SOLUTION: A fastening plate 30 includes: a support plate 31 supporting an engagement projection 21 projected from the side of a guide rail cover 14; a rocking plate 36 freely rockably journaled to the support plate and having an engagement groove 37; and a spring 39 energizing the rocking plate 36 to engage the engagement groove 37 with the engagement projection 21. The rear ends of the respective rocking plates 36 of the fastening plate 30 at two or more portions are connected to each other by one connecting rod 41, and a hook receiving piece 45 and a catch clip 46 for locking the rocking plates 36 to the connecting rod 41 at the rocked positions are provided, whereby when a hook 47 of the catch clip 46 is locked on the hook receiving piece 45 and a lever 48 is pushed downward, the connecting rod 41 is moved downward to lift the forward ends of the rocking plates 36 of all the fastening plate, thereby releasing the engagement state of the engagement groove 37 with the engagement projection 21.
